Weight and Performance: the Secret of the 0702SE Engine The 0702SE motor is distinguished by its extremely low weight - just 1.42g (or 1.35g without the connector). The use of brass bushings instead of ball bearings contributes to its light weight and performance, while making it a durable and economical solution for extreme lightweight designs. Although larger 603 or 802 motors can generate similar thrust, FPV pilots often prefer the smaller 0702 due to its positive impact on drone weight distribution and improved flight dynamics, making the 0702SE a reliable choice in this category. Ultralight Kit: PEEK propellers and propellers The 0702SE engines reach their full potential when combined with ultralight propellers, such as the Gemfan 1210 (2-blade) or Gemfan 1208 (3-blade), guaranteeing solid power and lightning-fast rudder response. In addition, the use of PEEK screws, weighing only 0.10g per 12 pieces, saves up to 0.46 grams of total design weight. PEEK bolts, thanks to their properties (resistance to heat, friction, impact, fatigue), increase the reliability and durability of the entire assembly. This synergy of components creates an optimal ultralight platform for racing and freestyle flying on whoop 65mm drones.
